Wellness Panel (CMP 14, LP,TP,CBC)

Glucose - A glucose test measures blood sugar levels within the last 24 hours. It is taken from the food that we eat and when we have an excess the liver holds it. When your blood sugar levels get low the liver releases some glucose into the blood. When you have too much or too little glucose in the blood sugar it shows that you may have diabetes.

Complete Metabolic Panel 12 - a frequently ordered panel of tests that gives your doctor important information about the current status of your kidneys, liver, and electrolyte and acid/base balance as well as of your blood sugar and blood proteins.

Lipid Panel - also called a cholesterol test, measures the fats (lipids) in your blood. The measurements can indicate your risk of having a heart attack or other heart disease.

Thyroid Panel - used to evaluate thyroid gland function and to help diagnose thyroid disorders. The tests measure the amount of thyroid hormones in your blood. These hormones are chemical substances that travel through the bloodstream and control or regulate your body’s metabolism—how it functions and uses energy. Thyroxine or T4 and triiodothyronine or T3 are the two hormones produced by the thyroid gland and the levels of these hormones in the blood is what tells if your thyroid is working properly.

Complete Blood Count - a test that measures the following: the number of red blood cells (RBCs), the number of white blood cells (WBCs), the total amount of hemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen, in the blood, the fraction of the blood composed of red blood cells (hematocrit), and the size of the red blood cells (mean corpuscular volume, or MCV).
