Celebrate heart health month with a treat that will curb your sweet tooth and boost cardiovascular health. This simple snack is packed with unsaturated fats and omega 3 fatty acids to help improve cholesterol. In addition, the antioxidants in the dark chocolate can reduce inflammation and blood pressure to help promote a healthy ticker.

Toast your almonds in a skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes then set aside in a bowl to cool. Melt your dark chocolate, remove from heat and stir in your almonds until evenly coated. Using a spoon, scoop 1-2 inch drops of your almond mixture onto wax paper and let cool. For the best health benefits, choose dark chocolate that is at least 70% cacao.
